3D COORDINATE MEASURING MACHINES
A wide range of bridge type state-of-the-art coordinate measuring machines (CMMs)  suited for all dimensional inspection tasks are available.

The structure of the machine has been designed such that it accurate to less than 5 microns. Computer Aided Accuracy and upgradation to Direct Computer Controlled (DCC) are possible.

Dimensional stability in a wide temperature range makes granite one of the best known natural materials used in dimensional metrology. GMT has 4 decades of experience in finishing granite for this application.

FEATURES

Offline programming -  It allows the CMM programmer  to program in the absence of a CMM. CAD generated data is used for 3D simulation. Being able to program offline leaves your CMM free to inspect other compo-nents.

Reverse engineering - CMM is used to measure an existing part, to determine its size, and creating engineering drawings from these measurements. This is useful in cases where engineering drawings may no longer exist or are unavailable.

CAD Model import capability - GMT CMM* allows you to import and export CAD modules in a range of standard formats.

I++ controller compatibility - GMT CMM controller (Renishaw) is I++ compliant. This means that the controller understands I++ commands and the software uses the I++ protocol and speaks to the I++ Server. The I++ Server is a piece of software supplied by the manufacturers of the controller.

3D scanning with Renishaw SP25 and Revo 5 Axis probe system - Renishaw has added a new probe option to its revolutionary REVO® five-axis measurement system, which for the first time, allows surface finish inspection to be fully integrated within CMM measurement routines.

Can be interfaced with 3D scanner

The machines are available in a wide range of sizes and designs with a variety of different probe technologies for 3D Inspection and measurement. They can be operated manually or automatically through Direct Computer Control (DCC). 

CMM TYPE

Bridge type CMM with stationary table and moving bridge placed on an ergonomically designed machine table. Machine base, cross beam and Z-axis are made of rigid granite. All axis with friction free air bearings.

The drive unit and scale of the X and Y-axis are protected by a bellow. The GMT Manual CMM can be easily upgraded to the CNC version at a later date as user needs change and inspection demands increase. Individual axis locking system is provided for Manual CMM's.
